Are you 55+ years of age, positive and emphatetic individual who loves being around elderly people? Do you have a positive outlook on life and life experiences that make you the perfect companion?
Your Companion is looking for people like you who can commit to providing social interaction and companionship for elderly individuals living at home or in a care facility. You’ll help them maintain their independence and keep their spirits up, whether by driving them to and from appointments, helping with daily errands, or just enjoying a nice cup of tea and a chat.
The perfect companion for the elderly should be patient, compassionate, possess excellent communication skills, and be flexible, dependable, and physically fit, while maintaining a positive attitude.
We’re seeking individuals who can commit to meeting their elderly friend on average 6 to 20 hours per week, always at the same time and day each week. You must have the ability to drive a car, possess your own vehicle, mobile phone, and have basic IT skills (training will be provided for everything else).
